Why Private Beats Group Camps

Your Athlete Deserves More Than
A Number.

Group camps spread one coach across twenty athletes. Your child gets a few minutes of real instruction, a lot of waiting in line, and a generic plan that wasn't designed for their sport or their body. Private coaching is the opposite: every drill, every correction, every minute is built around one athlete.

One Athlete, Full Attention
60 minutes of direct coaching, not 60 minutes of standing in a drill line waiting your turn.
Sport-Specific Programming
A soccer midfielder, a cross country runner, and a basketball wing need different speed work. Private means the plan matches the sport.
Real Form Correction
Coach Francisco can see and correct the small mechanical issues that cause injuries and cap an athlete's ceiling. Group camps can't.
Flexible Summer Scheduling
Sessions scheduled around your athlete's life, not a fixed camp week. Vacation? Tournament? Easy to work around.
College-Level Coach
Coach Francisco has coached at the college, junior college, and high school level for 15+ years. He has helped athletes earn college roster spots and break school records.

What We Train

Six Areas That
Change Everything.

Every program blends the qualities that decide who gets the roster spot, the starting line, the scholarship offer. We train all six.

1
Speed Development
Sprint mechanics, acceleration, and max-velocity work. The skill that separates good athletes from elite ones in every sport.
2
Running Form & Gait
Live gait analysis identifies the mechanical inefficiencies costing your athlete energy and creating injury risk.
3
Agility & Quickness
Change of direction, lateral speed, and explosive footwork. The skills that show up in every game-deciding moment.
4
Strength for Athletes
Sport-specific resistance work for the posterior chain, core, and hip power. The base every athletic quality is built on.
5
Endurance & Engine
Aerobic base, lactate threshold, and sport-specific conditioning. Athletes who finish strong win games and races.
6
Mobility & Injury Prevention
Flexibility, movement quality, and recovery protocols. The work that keeps athletes on the field instead of in physical therapy.

Real Athletes, Real Gains

What Parents and
Athletes Say.

★★★★★
Francisco identified a hip mechanics issue in the first session that had been causing my daughter's recurring shin splints. Three months of PT couldn't catch it. He did in 20 minutes.

★★★★★
Worth every penny compared to the group camps we tried before. My kid gets an hour of real coaching, not an hour of waiting in line for a drill turn.

Everything You
Need to Know.

Sports performance training is structured coaching for the underlying athletic qualities that decide outcomes in every sport: speed, agility, strength, endurance, movement efficiency, and injury resilience. It's separate from sport practice. A soccer player still goes to soccer training; sports performance work is what makes them faster, more durable, and harder to beat once they get there.
A typical sports camp puts one coach in front of 15–30 athletes for a fixed week. Your child gets a few minutes of individual attention, a generic plan, and a lot of waiting between reps. Private 1-on-1 coaching is the opposite: 60 minutes of direct instruction per session, scheduling that flexes around your family's summer, and a program built specifically for your athlete's sport, body, and goals.
Designed for middle school and high school athletes, typically grades 6 through 12 (ages 11–18). Coach Francisco adapts each program to where the athlete is developmentally — load, complexity, and intensity all calibrate to their training age, not just their calendar age.
Age-appropriate speed and agility work can start as early as age 8 with the right coaching emphasis (movement quality, coordination, play-based drills). More structured speed development, resistance work, and sport-specific conditioning typically begin in middle school as athletes reach the developmental window where these qualities respond most. Our program is built for middle school and high school athletes specifically.
Any sport. The program focuses on the universal athletic qualities — speed, agility, strength, endurance, and movement efficiency — that show up in every sport. Coach Francisco programs the sessions specifically for the demands of your athlete's primary sport, whether that's cross country, soccer, basketball, lacrosse, or any of the others on this page.
Very flexible. Sessions are scheduled directly with Coach Francisco based on mutual availability. No fixed camp weeks, no first-come-first-served slots. Family vacation? Travel tournament? Easy to work around — you just pick the session times that fit your summer.
In-person sessions serve Dublin, San Ramon, Danville, and Alamo. Coach Francisco works with athletes throughout the Tri-Valley and East Bay. Common locations include tracks, parks, and turf fields agreed upon at booking.
For most athletes, the 8-session Builder package is the sweet spot. It gives Coach Francisco enough time to identify mechanical issues, build a real program, and reassess mid-summer. The 4-session Starter is best for athletes who want a focused intervention before tryouts. The 12-session Elite is built for serious college-bound athletes who want the most ground covered before fall.
Coach Francisco has coached at the college, junior college, and high school level for 15+ years and understands what college coaches are looking for in measurable metrics. The Elite package includes a pre-season readiness report that documents your athlete's progress — useful for coaches, club teams, and recruitment conversations. We can also advise on which times, distances, or standards to target for the schools on your list.
